Super Life Lesson

I've been having chats with a very firm guy named Regi and a very strong girl named Ze.

They both are my friends, very best friends.

Malam ini kami nggak chat tentang hal geje seperti biasanya, tapi kami cerita tentang pengalaman hidup.

And guess what?

They shared some true stories which are.. emm.. aku ga bisa mendeskripsikannya, rasanya campur aduk. Aku sangat terharu saat mendengarnya.. eh salah, membacanya, karena via ym.

Yang pasti, aku gak pernah menyangka, dibalik sosok seperti mereka, ternyata mereka memiliki jalan hidup yang berat. Jauh lebih berat dari masa-masa kelamku yang aku pikir bodoh dan payah banget. Dan mereka sukses melewati itu semua.

Inspiring sekali. Aku harus berusaha untuk menjadi seperti mereka, kuat.

when it came to dinner, I just realized that I successfully did not eat rice today!

here are meals I had..

breakfast : beef and potato

late lunch : egg sandwich, 4/5 piece of 175g Cadbury milk chocolate

dinner : roasted banana with cheese and chocolate sauce toppings, a bowl of fresh melon

Thermodynamics of Hell

A true story.

A thermodynamics professor had written a take home exam for his graduate students.
It had one question: "Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Support your answer with a proof."

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:

First, we postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for souls entering hell, lets look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant. So, if hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose. Of course, if hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, than the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over.

Akhirnya sempat blogging juga setelah kemaren absen. Sebenernya kemaren malem mau blogging, tapi kadung capek dan ngantuk banget. Heheheh, maklum kemaren banyak kegiatan --> so(k) sibuk

Lemme tell you my tales..

Yesterday I was asked to join mas Rio’s mini orchestra to perform at UWK hall. Mini orchestra? Yes. Because it consists only a pianist (mas Rio), three violists (Rizka, Dhifa, Ica), a bassist (mas Rony, the coolest one), a guitarist (mas Andry), one clarinet player (mas Yudat, but I like to call him om gimbal, I’m his huge fan!) and one saxophonist (enji :p). Oh and also a bunch of kids to sing the songs. These kids are At-Taqwa kindergarten students who were about to graduate. We played 5 Islamic songs and they were really awesome. Those songs were written by mas Rio.

I arrived at the hall at 8.40, 10 minutes late from my plan, but it was ok. I headed directly to the left side of the stage to meet mas Rony and mas Andry who were jamming. I put my sexyphone box down, next to a white chair. Everyone was staring at me as if what I brought was a box of dynamite. I was really annoyed. I’m not a terrorist le O.o

I used so many English, padahal rencananya mau nulis pake bahasa Indonesia campur jawa, jadi lemme write the rest on bahasa campur (English sedikit2 gapapa lah) =))

Gak lama setelah aku datang, Dhifa, Rizka, sama om gimbal datang. Aku ngumpul sama yg cewek2, om gimbal ngumpul sama mas2 yang lain. Kita masih duduk di kursi-kursi sebelah panggung. Yang cewek di kursi putih yang ga ada tulisannya, yang cowok-cowok duduk di kursi merah. Padahal lhooo di kursi merah udah ditempelin kertas yang tulisannya ‘mama nayla’, ‘mama lia’, dan mama-mama yang lain. Jadi sebenernya kursinya buat para orang tua yang mau lihat wisuda anaknya. Gitu ya mas-masnya duduk dengan nyantai dan malah ngerumpi terus ketawa ceikikan. I captured a photo of them :p

Gak lama setelah itu mas Rio datang dengan membawa anak istri (woeeeh). Keluargaku sama mas Rio memang sudah kenal dekat, karena si Cleft (anaknya) sempet opname di PHC, papa yang handle. Mas Rio cuma sempet ngobrol sebentar, trus langsung ngomong sama stage coordinator.

Sekitar 20 menit kemudian, ada beberapa ibu-ibu yang celingukan nyariin kursi yang bertuliskan nama anak mereka, but it seemed that they didn’t find the chairs. Ternyata kursinya tuh yang lagi didudukin mas-mas tadi =)) buahahahah. As soon as they realized, mereka langsung ngacir ke backstage. Isin jare.. hahahaha. Lha ternyata di backstage ada make up room, adem pisan. Tau gitu daritadi nunggu di situ aja, ga ngambil tempat orang, ga isin diliatin pisan. Wkwkwk.

Di dalem, aku ngobrol sama Rizka. Si Dhifa lebih banyak diem dan main hp. Nungguin si Ica mungkin, mereka kan seumuran, jadi lebih ngobrolnya lebih nyambung. Alhamdulillah gak sampe 5 menit sejak di backstage, Ica datang. Jadi deh mereka berdua asik ngobrol sendiri. Mas Andry, mas Rony, dan om gimbal juga ngobrol di sisi ruangan yang lain. Mas Andry cerita tentang muridnya, cewek kelas 1 SMP di cita hari yang hearing abilitynya keren gilak. Gaya ceritanya khas dan sangat konyol. Satu ruangan cekikikan dengernya. Trus om gimbal bercerita tentang rambut gimbalnya. Ternyata itu ASLI. wow :O

Eh eh, trus tiba2 om gimbal menghampiriku dengan menyodorkan hapenya yang sedang berbunyi ke telingaku. Katanya ‘coba dengerin ini, keren banget’. And yes, he was totally right! Lagunya keren gilaaak. Dia cerita kalo main clarinet, niupnya lebih berat daripada saxophone, tapi di lagu yg lagi diperdengarkan ke aku, orangnya main clarinet dengan kecepatan gila-gilaan. Om gimbal sampe geleng-geleng kepala --> padahal om ini udah main clarinet sejak SMP lho, kebayang gak sih hebatnya kayak apa, gitu masih merasa kalah sama orang yg main clarinet di lagu tadi.

Tiba-tiba…

Mas Rio yang tadi masih sibuk ngurusi stage, tiba-tiba teriak, manggil kita buat cepet naik stage, katanya udah mau main. (jeng jeeeeng) padahal belum persiapan sama sekali. JT. Weh, aku langsung bongkar kotak sexyphone, om gimbal juga langsung masang clarinetnya. Ga sampe semenit, kita udah di stage. Wihihiw, kilat le, ga pake warming up disik.

Mainnya sekitar 20-30 menit lah. Jangan lama-lama, bibirku udah perih tuh :p hahaha.

Trus pulangnya dijemput papa, ke PHC dulu, trus sebelum pulang ke rumah, mampir giant perak.

(waktu lewat aisle yang isinya segala macem pernak pernik skombop—harusnya spongebob, but I like to call it skombop)

Enji : waaah, wuakehe skombopnya.. adel pasti suka ya, pa..
Papa : walaah, kalo gitu jangan ajak adekmu nang kene, bisa kalap.. nanti minta macem2..
Enji : (dalam hati) padahal aku juga suka, heu..

1. I think the first movie i watch is Petualangan Sherina. A very nice movie.
